TEHRAN -- MEHR NEWS AGENCY -- The Imam Khomeini Internet site went online in the Persian language on the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini.
According to a report released by the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, this site consists of several sections: the Imam's Biography (his will, works, and poetry), the Imam's Approaches and Attitudes, Memories of the Imam, the Imam in the View of the World, and Articles About the Founder of the Islamic Republic Of Iran.
All the events during his useful life, from his birth to his death -- his exile, his revolutionary efforts, and finally his departure -- have been mentioned in the Biography section, the Mehr News Agency reported.
It also added that in the Memories section, his close relatives and officials relate their memories of the Imam.
The Articles section contains ninety articles on the Imam's ideological and political viewpoints.
Speeches and reports from the Iranian and foreign media and high-ranking officials about the Imam's personality are available in the Imam in the View of the World section.
Eighty approaches and viewpoints are available in the Imam's Approaches and Attitudes section.
All the information is available on line at the website http\www.imam-khomeini.com.
The Mehr News Agency also reported that the Imam Khomeini Internet site plans to launch Arabic and English sections in the near future.
